Grow where you’re grounded

Practical coaching with a trauma-informed lens, heartfelt support, and clear steps forward.

About

I’m Emily, a trauma-informed life coach who helps individuals understand how their lived experiences have shaped their nervous system, beliefs, and patterns.

I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your story with compassion, learn to feel and process emotions, and build a deeper sense of safety within yourself. Using nervous system regulation and somatic tools, I support you in moving from feeling stuck to showing up in your life with more clarity, autonomy, and intention.

With over 400 hours of client experience and training in trauma-informed emotional health and relationship work, my approach is grounded, compassionate, and deeply supported.

  • "I’ve always been someone who struggles to let tears out. I’ve worked on this for years now… trying to be comfortable to be seen crying. Often, it’s hard for me to find places of safety in this area where my body can actually feel free to release. I have many reasons to be grateful for my sessions with Emily , but a couple that really stand out are that I have felt so safe to allow the sadness to come up and I have been so validated and honored when it does. Emily is a great listener. She remembers and honors the details about my life, and often helps me to put the pieces together and find clarity and wisdom in situations that previously felt disconnected and messy."

  • "Before we started working together, I was carrying a lot — old wounds, generational patterns I'd inherited without knowing how to name them, and a sense that my own identity had gotten buried somewhere along the way. I had tried to outpace it for years, but eventually the weight of it became undeniable. What has shifted is genuinely hard to put into words. I came in looking for relief and found something I didn't expect — myself. Not a fixed, finished version, but a truer one. I've been able to name lies I'd believed about who I am, speak truth over them, and begin to actually inhabit my own life in a new way. Emily has a rare combination of warmth and groundedness that makes deep work feel possible - even when it's uncomfortable. The most meaningful shift has been in how I understand myself."

  • "I didn't know my marriage was in a crisis. Neither of us had tools to navigate this much hurt. Before separating, we decided to try working with Emily. Emily was always on BOTH our sides. Instead of sorting through arguments and problem solving, Emily taught us how to regulate our own emotions and become safe for each other. f your relationship reverts back to old patterns after traditional counseling, there's still hope. This is different. It's not a quick fix from a few conversations. It's not a resolution to a single problem. This is an opportunity for a brand new marriage, a brand new life. Before you throw in the towel, try it.

  • "Before I started working with Emily I was really struggling to identify and manage my emotions. I didn't have much empathy for myself, and I wasn't able to get curious while in the midst of pain. Now I am able to say that I have growth in each of these areas. I'm able to identify when I'm triggered, how to regulate my nervous system, how to engage with others despite their disregulation. In our sessions Emily always made me feel seen and accepted. She asks great questions to help clarify the real issue at hand or need that is underneath it all. "
